Fun With Water Today

This was our afternoon play time, this is an everyday thing. Whisper is such a good girl and we have so much fun playing in the water every day. She loves to play in the water. When SHE thinks its time for her daily water playtime she starts stomping in her waterer. Then she knows I will come out, clean out the waterer, and squirt her down. It never fails, its always about 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I have raised her from a weanling and had no idea she would be my water baby. I have played with her everyday and she is like a big dog. I think she will be really easy to train. I have been putting saddle pads on her since she was six months old and I used the english saddle on her too. We moved up to the western saddle this year and she doesn't care one bit. Its been way to hot to do anything but play in the water though so that is what we do every day. Note: Little man my miniature is no where in these pictures although he does live with Whisper. But when the hose comes out he doesn't have the same affection for it as Whisper does.

She really does like the water.

Whisper turns her butt around so it can get cooled off too.

Whisper all wet and shiny from her playtime. We made a really big puddle today but she doesn't care.

Sixteen months old and what a big pretty girl. Nice and cool from her daily bath. The below picture was taken BEFORE she went and rolled in the dirt and then took her nap.

Drinking from the hose once again. Its really hard to wet down a horse the insists upon drinking from the hose. Whisper just loves the water. Drinking from the hose is something she has discovered in the last week and now I can't keep her away from it. She is so silly about it.

What a ham. She is such a silly girl. 

Well its a shame that she will finish playing in the water and then go roll in the dirt. After playtime she usually goes and rolls and then takes a nap all stretched out in the sun. Its the same routine daily. I sure do love this filly. She is going to be such a nice mare.
