Well fall is arriving, not much different where I currently live. Looks the same pretty much year around. With the drought it is just brown, no colors, a little weather change (its finally getting cooler) yet I sit here and look at a picture and wish I was some where else already. I am passing the time packing up boxes, wondering what came over me to move in the first place. Actually I know the answers to that but shall keep them to myself.
Wishing I was watching the trees change at home, the horses growing their winter coats, waking up to the crisp cool mornings next to you and enjoying nice long fall rides on the back roads. Soon I pray...soon.
I spend a lot of time on the phone with loved ones. Hearing about my families changes and yet I sit here....wondering when. Waiting............waiting................waiting.............
In the meantime, the horses I moved are doing very well, the ones I still have with me are enjoying the cooler temps. Whisper continues to play in the water, Cat continues to play untiringly with his jolly ball and Rebel and Little Man spend their time watching the house for the next feeding time or snoozing under the tree.
Its very quiet around here, don't turn on the tv much, its just a source of noise without someone to enjoy a movie or a show with. What I wouldn't give to be able to lay on the love seat and watch something with you, or just sit and talk to one another. Its lonely being without you. I thought I had gone numb permanently, apparently not. It just took a while to find myself again.
Everyday is just going through the motions to get through to the next. Being alone sure gives you a lot of time to think about things. I wish gas wasn't so expensive. I'd be home tomorrow.
Well nothing more right now. Need to get some more things done.
