I got some things accomplished with Whisper this morning. We saddled up and worked in the pen for a little while and worked on desensitizing. SHE DID FABULOUS! She is fairly use to being saddled though since I introduced he to an english saddle when she was young and a saddle pad and all that kind of stuff.
Today we got backing down pat! I can barely touch the reins and she will back up. She caught onto that with extreme quickness. We worked on flexing and whoa and she got all of that down pretty well too. Whoa is perfect, flexing still needs a bit more tweaking. I was able to step up on her and lay over the saddle as well. She was comfortable with it and the only movement on her part was to rebalance herself.
She switches directions when working with ease and grace and she is coming along very well. She is a big girl and is getting bigger every single day. I am so proud of her. She is amazing.
