Whipsers Day

Today was Whispers day. Whisper was foaled April 23,2010 so she is not yet a year and a half old. She string tested for 16 hands and I have no doubt that she will make it with ease. I went out and worked with her today partly because she needed it and partly in an attempt to lift myself out of this funk that I have been in for about 3 days running now. It just keeps getting worse.
Anyway, here are some shots I took of her working all tacked up. She never once even tried to buck or anything. She can stop on a dime and turn and she has a great slide stop. She is a very quick learner and she is going to develop into a great rider and show horse. She loves praise and when you praise her and ask her to repeat something you have shown her she does it with ease.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Need to work on dropping the head and lengthening our stride a bit. But all in all she did very well.

Gathered up and taking off. She really wasn't as flighty as she looks in the picture. She moves rather well.

Whisper looks really good with or without tack. Can't believe she is under a year and a half and the saddle does not swallow her.
